“Thank you so much for these videos.  You’re a natural teacher and give some exceptional explanations[…] With your videos, I come away understanding why these circuits are designed the way they are and that is infinitely more empowering.”

Got my first pedal kit, random parts and breadboard on order, so looking forward to diving in. No doubt will be referring back to your video(s) – just the right balance of theoretical and practical.

A RECENT VIDEO

This video examines the operation of the Adjustable Sawtooth Generator you often see in my videos.

The video features a breakdown each sub circuit using both a circuit simulator software and components on a breadboard in the lab.

In approaching it this way we are introduced to several circuit building blocks, content current sources, capacitor charging, a diode switch, and a comparator with hysteresis.

Clean Boost Circuit Improvements

In this article, we examine improvements we can make to a simple Op Amp Clean Boost circuit to make it more suitable for commercial production.

Clean Boost Guitar Pedal Series

In this series we start by building a build a Clean Boost circuit for Electric Guitar, we troubleshoot any issues before moving on to modifying the circuit by adding soft and hard clipping diodes before looking as the area of the circuit that we can improve using a better power section and by employing filters to address noise and frequency response.  This series will continue duirng 2023 with several more parts including implementing a tone circuit, adding gain & volume controls, and finally designing a PCB.
